Devaun Park Design & Marketing Visualizations

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Chances are, every custom home builder can tell stories about dissatisfied buyers who purchased a home before it was built but were ultimately unhappy with the final result because it just wasn’t how they had envisioned it. Then there were those potential buyers who didn’t sign a contract because they couldn’t “visualize” what the home would look like and went on to buy an existing home instead.

Anyone facing either of these scenarios would agree that a picture is worth a thousand words, particularly if that picture provides an accurate depiction of a home from every aspect including layout, colors, finishes, materials, landscape and the views from each window. All this before the builder ever breaks ground. That is what architectural visualization can do by taking traditional two-dimensional drawings and renderings and transforming them into a fully-finished three-dimensional “picture”.

The Project: Devaun Park – Calabash, North Carolina

In 2002, award-winning developer and landscape architect Scott Stewart of Stanaland Stewart Company began developing the multi-family residential community in beautiful Devaun Park in the heart of coastal North Carolina. Devaun Park is Stewart’s most innovative development project, which includes a 150-acre mixed-use neighborhood with a unique feel that cultivates community activity and family interaction through traditional neighborhood design.

Sales and Marketing Package

Stewart worked with The preVision Company to develop a comprehensive sales and marketing package to equip his sales team when meeting with prospective buyers. The images were so detailed with 3D renderings of streetscapes, interiors and landscaping that many who saw the renderings thought the community was already built.

These detailed images gave the Devaun Park sales team the most valuable marketing tools they could have asked for – precise images of each homesite and of the entire community to entice potential buyers. The 3D renderings helped generate sales and interest in the homes, and also gave buyers a true sense of comfort and understanding of every detail of their future home.

Developer Satisfaction

Because Devaun Park was Stewart’s prized community, he wanted to ensure that every detail was perfectly aligned with his vision for the neighborhood. Working with The preVision Company not only allowed him to meet his customers’ needs and desires, but the preVision Company’s 3D visualizations helped him ensure the project would fit seamlessly within the rest of the development and remained in tune with his long-term vision for the community.
