Services Offered

Regardless of where you are in the design development process, from massing models to mass marketing, we work at any phase of your design development or marketing processes.

It is often possible to repurpose model data to extend the value of your investment – for example, there is a relatively small amount of additional work needed to take the model used for a roof-off view and use it for an interior rendering – ask us how you can get the most out of the work we do for you.

360° Virtual Tours of 3D Model Products in QuickTime or Flash

Cubic camera renderings are stitched into Quicktime or Flash Virtual Reality tours.

Click and drag in tour window to navigate.

A virtual tour allows the user to navigate around a 3D representation of a room, 360 degrees in every direction. These are made by rendering six views of the subject, and assembling them into a cube. Next, “stitching” software is used to blend the edges of the cube into a seamless virtual room. Virtual tour files can be provided in Flash or QuickTime formats. These files can be viewed with any Flash-enabled Web browser or QuickTime Player. Virtual tours can also be embedded into PowerPoint and Keynote presentations, and into in-line PDF files.

CAD Accurate Architectural Renderings of Exterior Perspectives and Interior Designs

Two-dimensional CAD plans of a structure can be converted into 3D renderings.

3D computer model renderings add another dimension to your plans by precisely calculating how light interacts with shapes and surfaces treatments. We take your plans and carefully prepare a 3D wireframe of your product, apply accurate finish information, and show it in the lighting that is more controllable than any artificial or natural light source. Compared to hand-drawn renderings, computer renderings are more accurate and versatile and can be updated throughout the design process.

Design Development and Finish Treatment Studies

Accurate 3D renderings are both useful design tools and marketing images.

3D models of interior scenes are highly detailed representations of a room created from a broad range of visual and dimensional information. This includes careful attention to blending the physical qualities of lighting and finishes to provide a reliable representation of your choices.

Alternate Lighting

Alternate lighting of existing 3D models can efficiently be rendered in dramatic lighting.

Add a dramatic and appealing view of your product by efficiently reusing your 3D model in a different light. Alterations to the environmental controls of your existing 3D model offer an effective and economical way to show a variety of views of your design.

Roof-off Views

Roof off views are an efficient way to re-task existing 3D model geometry.

Get added value from your model files by simply taking the roof off. This is an excellent example of getting the most from your money – completed interior models can be shown from virtually any point of view. Get added value from your model files by simply showing off your design with the roof-off.

Photo Composites of Sites and Proposed Improvements

3D renderings can be combined with photographs to show planned improvements.

Photo composites blend 3D models of planned improvements with photographs of existing sites. We methodically separate foreground and background objects of a photo, align the 3D model to the photo, render the model, and combine these elements. By carefully examining the lighting and perspective in a scene, we can combine the virtual model in a photograph of the physical world.

2D and 3D Illustrations of Site Plans

Site plans can be created in two or three dimensions.

Site plans can be made with either a two-dimensional vector-based illustration program or with 3D modeling software. While a 2D image may be more economical for some uses, a 3D model is ultimately of greater value when used in combination with previously-created model information, such as a streetscape.

3D Representations of Commercial Products

3D renderings of commercial products can help with the design and marketing processes.

Commercial products benefit from high detail views of prototypes. Finish options are efficiently employed to offer greater flexibility to the designer. Save the investment of producing and photographing your product.

Digital “Hand-Drawn” Images Derived from 3D Renderings

3D renderings can be adapted to appear as hand-drawn renderings with various digital techniques.

All renderings and 3D wireframes can be digitally filtered or rendered for a variety of artistic styles.
